Samuel Van De Cruze is on a mission to make NYC laundry painless.
Dissatisfied with New Yorkers' typical laundromat experience, owner Samuel Van De Cruze decided to channel his passion for clean clothes and community service into the laundry business.
"For New Yorkers especially, laundry is probably the least favorite chore," explains Van De Cruze. "Basically, I wanted to create a relaxing and inspiring community space for people to wash and fold their clothes."
An active member of his community, Van De Cruze describes his deep involvement in the laundromat's daily operations as the most rewarding part of his role as the owner of Mr. Bubbles.
Samuel delivers on his customer-centric approach to laundromat operations by providing customers with weekly incentives including free detergent, hot pizza, and raffles for free laundry service.
In the spring of 2016, several local news outlets covered Van De Cruze's community service efforts, specifically where he provided an East Elmhurst homeless shelter with free wash and fold laundry service.
